To insert a clip into the track, proceed as follows:
1.
If you want to insert an audio clip or audio loop into the track: 
1.
Open the context menu in the track display area and click the Insert Audio File(s) / Insert Audio Loop(s) entry.

A window is opened.
2.
Select the audio file that you want to insert.
3.
Click the Open button.

The audio file is inserted in the track as a peak file.
2.
If you want to capture an audio file and immediately insert it in the track as an audio clip:
1.
Open the context menu in the track display area and click the Record Audio Clip entry.
2.
Make the desired settings and click the Keep button after recording is finished.

The audio clip is inserted in the track automatically.
3.
If you want to insert a ScratchBox or SoundBox clip:      
1.
Open the context menu in the track display area and click the Insert ScratchBox Clip / Insert SoundBox Clip entry.

The respective window is opened.
2.
Create the clip and close the window.

The clip is inserted in the track automatically.

You have inserted a clip into the track.


Inserting Clips
