After creating a crossfade, you can edit the properties of the crossfade area (i.e. the area in which the two audio files overlap).
To edit the crossfade properties, proceed as follows:

- Right-click the red X in the crossfade area.

- A context menu is opened.

- If you want to apply a certain crossfade method, click the desired crossfade method.
- 3.
- If you want to match the tempos of the two audio files for the crossfade area:
- 1.
- Click the Match Tempos entry.

- The Crossfade Tempo window is opened.
- 2.
- If you want to create a smooth transition between the two audio files, select the Gradually alter tempo with transition option button.
- 3.
- If you want to create a rather harsh transition between the two audio files, select the Hard tempo scale within transition option button.
- 4.
- If you want to manually define the tempo (in bpm) for the crossfade area, move the Common tempo slider to the desired position.
- 5.
- Click the OK button.
